  • cider: If you can, choose fresh, unfiltered cider – it has the best flavor. Regular apple juice will work too, but cider has a richer, richer apple flavor.
  • Orange juice: Freshly squeezed juice is great, but bottled juice is totally perfect for this recipe.
  • lemon juice: A little lemon juice brightens everything up. Fresh is great, but bottled is fine too.
