With this drink, I can love on S’mores anytime. I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I always use homemade hot fudge sauce because it’s the best ever. And, since I have kids, Graham Crackers and Marshmallows always seem to be found in my pantry. So, so delicious. Sure, you could be addicted for life, but that’s too good to pass up.
raw material
- milk: We recommend using 2% or whole milk for delicious richness. You can also substitute diet-appropriate milk.
- Hot fudge sauce: Any type of hot fudge is great. If you want to make your own, check out our delicious hot fudge sauce recipe.
- Marshmallow: Also available are 16 mini marshmallows or a heaping pile of plush marshmallows.
- Graham crackers: Adds thickness to the ice age and brings that familiar S’mores flavor.
- Espresso (optional): If you want to add some extra pick me up add 1-2 shots of espresso
- Ice cubes: It’s important that you don’t add ice before mixing the other ingredients separately to give the marshmallow a smooth, creamy texture.
Coffee selection
A Frappe is just an ice-cold drink, despite what Starbucks might have you believe it always requires coffee. You can make this recipe either way! Want some coffee in the fridge? You can use one of the following options:
- 1 to 2 shots of prepared espresso
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup brewed coffee
