Powdered sugar does not need explanation, but you can choose milk and cocoa powder. There are several varieties of dry milk.

Most grocery stores carry non-fat or low-fat instantaneous dry milk. These do absolutely well in homemade hot cocoa mixtures. I personally prefer whole milk, which is sold as “whole milk dry milk” and is often sold in bulk food stores or online.

It can also provide dry coconut and goat milk for people with milk allergies.
