This Naturally Sweet Green Detox Juice Recipe It has apples, spinach, parsley, lemon, soothing ginger and cucumber. High in iron, vitamin C and essential nutrients!
I love this green detox juice recipe. It’s full of fresh, healthy ingredients and has a stunning taste! Our bodies have done a great job of detoxifying, but this green juice can boost nutrients and can supplement the process.
This green juice is delicious, hydrating and easy to make! For more juice recipes, I love this naturally sweet beet juice, lemon and these incredible ginger cameras!
Key Ingredients
I like to think of this green juice as a concentrated dose of nutrients. I don’t make juice cleaners or use juice as an alternative meal, but I still like to make a small vegetarian packaged juice and enjoy it with us (usually fiber-rich) breakfast or lunch.
- Green Apple: My favorite sweetener to eat green juice! The price is reasonable and adds sweetness, which balances the earthy flavor of the vegetables well.
- coriander: Make this super green. It does have a strong flavor, so it’s a long time.
- spinach: The spinach was filled with iron and was my best choice for juice because it was easy to get and budget-friendly. Its mild flavor blends with other fruits and vegetables.
- cucumber: I love adding cucumber to my juice recipes because it is super hydrating and refreshing. I like to use thin-skin varieties, such as English cucumbers for juice.
- lemon: Fresh lemon adds a refreshing flavor to the green juice. Plus, the vitamin C in lemon can help your body absorb iron from vegetables like spinach.
- ginger: Fresh ginger is a great addition to juice! I love spices; it is anti-inflammatory and promotes healthy digestion. No need to peel, scrub, slice and add to your juicer. I also made my favorite ginger lens with fresh ginger!
How to make green detox juice
If you have a juiceryou will push everything through it and enjoy it! I removed the peel of the lemon and the seeds and the core of the apple.
I love my Omega slow/cold press juicer (not sponsored, just something I have at home). This is awesome, especially the leafy greens that are juiced in this green juice.

If you don’t have a juicermix the ingredients in a high power mixer for 60 to 90 seconds. Then, filter it through a fine mesh filter before drinking.
Just in case you don’t know, there are two main types of juicers:
- Centrifugal juicer: These are usually more affordable. They use fast rotating blades to separate the juice from the pulp. Some people worry that the process will produce calories, potentially destroying nutrients and enzymes in the juice. They are also less efficient, which means you get less juice from your produce.
- Slow/cold press juicer (chewing juicer): These gently squeeze the juice out of the fruit and vegetables. They are known for extracting maximum juice volumes, which can offset higher price tags over time. This is my use and love.

Natural sweet green juice
Our bodies are amazing when it comes to detox, but this green detox juice is filled with nutrients that can support overall health and well-being. In this green juice, spinach tastes mild and cilantro is fresh. Add lemon and ginger to Zing, and cucumber adds nutrient-rich water. Apples are naturally sweet, so we don’t add any other sugar or fruit except lemon. If you find the juice is too sour, consider pushing a few carrots or an extra apple into the juicer. If you are sensitive to Ginger’s warming/spicy quality, add a smaller amount at the beginning and add from there.
Make 2 servings
You will need
2 cups packed baby spinach leaves
A few parsley leaves and stems
1 medium green apple, rinse and remove core
1 large seedless (hothouse or English) cucumber, rinse
1 inch long fresh ginger, scrub it
1 small lemon, remove the seeds
direction
1Cut the apples, cucumbers and ginger into small pieces, enough to pass through the juicer.
2Cut the yellow peel from the lemon, leaving most of the white pulp and lemon meat behind. Cut thinly and remove all seeds – fix approximately half of the lemon.
3Turn on the juicer and push everything away, alternating between the green and the firm cucumber, apple and lemon.
4Stir the juice and flavor when everything except the reserved lemon is juiced. If you feel you can take it, add the remaining lemon.
5If the juice is too sour, consider adding a few scrubs, unground carrots or another core foot apple.
Adam and Joanne’s Tips
- Approved: Enjoy fresh vegetable juice quickly after juicing, but you can do it a day or two in advance. Store in glass, sealed container. If you use a supercooled press, it should last longer.
